Hi everyone, construction of our backyard botanical gardens came to a screeching halt yesterday thanks to all the miserable rain.
And more rain.
And more rain.
I'm not so sure about today, either. As I type this, it's cloudy, wet and gray.
I am not a happy camper.
Still, there's hope! About 5 years ago I took this photo along the back fence with my little, slow-moving Sony Cybershot camera, and it still remains one of my favorite photos today.
Here's the non-photoshopped version, which still continues to amaze me after all these years.
Nasty as it is out there, another day like this is gonna come. Click below the fold to see the pic. ;)

I love both of those pictures! The rain looks lovely, though please don't send it to Oklahoma..we're still recovering from some flooding last week.
The sunflower is bright and cheerful..love it!
