It only took about 45 minutes to take the tree down, pack it up and haul all the boxes to the shed, but it took me 4 to 5 days to think about doing it.
And just thinking about it during those 4 to 5 days was much more agonizing than the process itself. Is it not amazing how procrastination can wear you down? Yes, this is true.
I haven't started working on my new years resolutions yet, although I like making them because it gives me hope that.... ta da! There's always tomorrow! And tomorrow, with all those resolutions in force, will be better! And what a better way to start off the day than with a little hope in force?
So I plan to get 'em all started very soon.
More of all that is going on around these parts:
Rick is still working on the driveway project and I am sick of the "driveway project."
Anybody want to buy a house "as is?" I will have to show you the house when he isn't home, and then we'll arrange the sale while he's at work. How convenient is that? He won't even have to get involved! Maybe I will throw him in with the sale! muwahhaha!
Somewhere in around this blog is a post about feeding the birds, and how I was buying cheapO bird seed from Walmart. Then the torrid rains came, and all the bird seed stuck together. And then Christmas came and normal life ceased and shuddered to a screeching halt.
WELL, last week, I bought expensive bird seed from Walmart. Tis the new year! Ha!
When I get around to putting it in the feeder, I'll let you know if any birds stopped in to dine.
I may even get pics to post.
I'm still having buyers remorse, however. That bird seed set me back eight bucks, you know.
What else...
Oh, we went out to see the manatees! Which reminds me, I've gotta upload some photos and tell y'all about that.
Yup. Yup. stay tuned!

glad things are getting back to normal for you :-)

The driveway project? Did I miss something?
And the cookies ... was there a cookie post?
Looking forward to your manatees.

I think you're right, you have to give yourself a week or two into the new year to figure out what your resolutions are. They don't materialize until then.

So, what are you doing to the driveway?
Manatees? I love them. Photos, please.
