Here's the Suntrust building in downtown Tampa, which lit up the sky in green and gold in support of USF. They should leave it that color, it's beautiful!
As you all know, I'm a big time Gator fan, but I do live in Tampa Bay, after all, and this whole town is absolutely going nuts lately over the Bull's unforgettable win over the #5 ranked West Virginia. We watched the game at home last night (yes, more football, less kitchen) and all I could think of was, "Whoa!"
With the Gators going strong, and USF charging right behind them, and the brand new Buccaneers!! Life is good in the football state right now. Unless you're uh.... ahem, an FSU or Dolfan.. nyuk nyuk
Topic switch.... Sam and I went to get our nails done yesterday. How do you type with acrylics??? I'm backspacing all over the place.
Meanwhile, Back in the Kitchen: Richard drilled some holes and ran some wires into the wall last night, much to my amazement.
All right, which one of you called him? He rarely reads the blog. hmmmmm. 'course, the game started and work came to a screeching halt. Please call him again!
I'm hoping for a rainy day tomorrow...oh, for no reason....
Long day ahead for all of us: Today Britt's high school band/colorguard will host 20 other bands from all over the state. I'll be chaperoning from 1 p.m to whenever, and Rick will be towing various trailers from other bands around the parking lot after he gets off work. Britt performs at 9:30 in the first performace of the season.... I still haven't been able to see their show! I'm fighting a nasty sore throat, aches and pains and I'm not sure if it's strep or not. What a time to get sick. ugh.
The Bulls played some of the best defense I have seen in college football in a long time. It was hard hitting, gang tackling, take no prisoners, pro football type defense. I was surprised to say the least. I don't think this team is a fluke..too many freshmen and sophs on the team and they should be a powerhouse in years to come.
I just hope the Tampa Bay Chokes can do as well this weekend.

Well, I'm glad you're having a good football season! I'm in Cincinnati at the moment, but I'm really a KC Chiefs fan. Need I say more? ;-)

The new beast of the east.
Watch out gators.
The way I see it, the Bulls beat Auburn, Auburn beat the Gators, therefore The Bulls beat the Gators.

FC... ".....!@#! !!!!!....."
Dave, well, my hub's a closet Miami Dolphin fan. He could identify with your pain. ;)
Seamus, I found a way to sharpen these acrylics and Rick says the kitchen should be done by thanksgiving. (g)
Guy, the Bucs have returned. This is a whole other team right now.

It's all real funny until an unranked team beats the Gators - then it's hilarious - Jeff
