I saw so many folks fishing this past Saturday...I wanted to be out there, too!

Lookit how firmly and confidently Sam holds that fish. Do you know how many girlie-girls would be all squeamish and squealy with a grouper wiggling around in their hands? THAT is impressive.

WOW! I can't believe that one was under the limit. What IS the limit?

Old Horsetail Snake

Would be more logical to me if the big (over 30 inches) fish were off limits, being's as they are more likely to add to the population. So it goes....

Hoss, the ones over 30"- if you can land them in the boat - usually have a bunch of hooks stuck in 'em! LOL

Kenju, the size limit is 22" and 1 gag grouper per person. They had one that was 21 3/4", but I'm not sure which one it was in these pictures.

Nils, she loves to go out on the boat. I don't think I would have wanted to hold it either. Both the girls bait their own hooks, too. They do get squeamish though, I've seen it on occasion.

Janet, it was a gorgeous weekend. These pics were taken the weekend before last, I'm just late in posting them. But yeah, I know how you felt! I didn't get to go on this trip, and wanted to be out there also!

Those are some great photos! That last one is cool!

I don't think Punkin would hold a fish... hell, she gets squeamish about the kitchen sponge she uses to do the dishes...

Kelli, my girls don't like to hold kitchen sponges to do the dishes, either. In fact, doing kitchen work in general makes them squeamish... ;)

Re:fat cops.
That used to burn my biscuits when I was LE.
It is irresponsible and it puts their partners at risk. If you can't stay fit, there are other jobs.

Nice grouperlings!

That looks like so much fun, I have never fished in the ocean. Only lakes and rivers. Great pictures too!
I agree about overweight cops. I just don't get that. They should be leading kids to great physical fitness by being role models but so many are unhealthy and have heart attacks very young. Like you I think they should be able to run with the criminal....certain jobs should require better discipline in the eating and excercise department and cops should be one of them.
