Winterguard sounds like an amazing preparation for life after school, where usually there is "No sitting out for PMS. No sitting out for pain." Go Brittany!!!

Go, Britt! And go MOM ... people don't always appreciate that behind every successful student athlete/performer, there are parents who gave up a LOT to have them reach their best. I know exactly how much you have sacrificed, and it's exciting to see that pay off - for Britt.

Have fun in Ohio ... and good luck to all!

What a huge parental commitment it is, but so worth the effort! Good luck in Ohio Britt!

Wow, just wow! I'm so impressed; I had no idea what was involved. And for Brittany to have that drive and discipline so early in life is phenomenal and will serve her well in years to come.

GOOD LUCK at Nationals!!!!

Old Horsetail Snake

I am not sure what it is, but I am darn sure it is very tough. Go team go!!!

My son was in band for 7 years, so I know what it's like. There is nothing like seeing your kid perform! I'd always get butterflies and teary-eyed. Now that he's graduated, I really miss seeing and hearing him play the sax. I'm hoping my little one will take up music, too. I'd rather be a band mom than a soccer mom!

Good Luck Brittany in Ohio!!!!!!!

You are a wonderful parent to do all that, and I know you are proud of her for all of it!

Man, you must be so proud! She sounds like a wonderful young lady, Congratulations and Good Luck!!!!

I'm just totally in awe. We'll be sending good wishes your way. Have a safe and happy trip.Loved the 9th picture of Brittany.

Linda/RV Vagabonds

Loved the picture of the rifles spinning so they looked like butterflies. What a commitment for a teenager, but your daughter appears to be handling it with grace and strength.

This made me smile! :D
Thank you all!
I had a lot of fun up there.
And we did better than I EVER expected.
